Throughout California, low-income and people of color communities are on the front lines of environmental pollution and unhealthy housing and workplace conditions.  As a result these communities face higher health risks at the same time having less access to quality and affordable health care.  There is a clear need for action for environmental justice.

Our mission is to strengthen the progressive environmental justice movement in California by building on the local organizing efforts and advocacy successes of our member organizations to achieve state policy change.
